The graph structure of Biozon and the emergent graph resulting from
integration of many sources lends itself well to analysis.
Particularly relevant to searches and result sets is the ability to
assign ranks to Biozon objects based on the graph structure.
To assign prominence values to objects Biozon employs a method that
resembles PageRank by Google and search results may be ordered by
ranks. These values are typically correlated with the amount of
information associated with different entities.
As this ranking method as applied to biological objects is new,
we would like as much feedback as possible regarding the quality
of the ordering. We currently open a popup window that allows
users to rate the quailty of the ranking. Other comments may be
sent to Biozon via the feedback form.
